Anahita Dehbonehie

 
Currently an artsist with the Soulpepper Academy, Anahita Dehbonehie is a scenographer and production designer. Since coming home to Toronto in 2012, she has had the pleasure of working with several different highly respected artists and companies.

Awards/Honours: Anahita Dehbonehie's work has been featured at the Prague Quadrennial and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.  She was recently honoured with a Dora Nomination (Toronto Theatre Award) for her work on Modern Times' The Lesson.

Other Interesting Tidbits: She believes in the transformative power of performance and is deeply moved by new or devised work that embraces the influences of the surrounding world and blurs the boundaries of its classical basis.
