(Munich, Nov. / Dec. 2011) Two lost individuals, Vladimir und Estragon wait in no particular time or place - nowhere and everywhere. They argue, repeat themselves, clown around, and can’t agree on anything: whether to get going or to stay where they are; whether to hang themselves or to help Lucky, the servant who gets badly mistreated by his master Pozzo. Time passes. What remains is the hope – the hope for someone (or something) named Godot. But will Godot come? And is he worth waiting for? A tragicomedy exploring the remarkable resilience of man’s spirit in the face of little hope.
BeMe Theatre is proud to present an all-new production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, one of the most significant plays of the 20th century. Ripe with humour and profoundly touching, this production is worth the wait.
