Graeme Somerville
Originally from Cambridge, Ontario in Canada, Graeme Somerville went on to study Theatre Direction and Design at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, and then acting at the National Theatre School of Canada, in Montréal, Québec.
His professional career has continued to take him across Canada, performing on major stages in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Montréal, Hamilton and Victoria. Selected acting highlights include his award-winning performance playing the title character in Lenz and his award-nominated performance as Warwick in George Bernard Shaw’s Saint Joan.
Mr. Somerville has been a resident ensemble member for the last eight years at the Shaw Festival, one of North America’s largest repertory theatres, and been featured in their recent productions of John Bull’s Other Island, Serious Money, In Good King Charles’s Golden Days, An Inspector Calls, Design for Living, You Never Can Tell, and Man and Superman, among others.
