Amy Finegan

 
Amy Finegan was born in Rhode Island and trained in the same class as Academy Award nominee Emily Watson at Drama Studio London, where she has lived and worked since 1989. Her performing career has spanned singing jazz in London nightclubs to acting with the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Company. Her acting experience includes many years working for the AandBC Theatre Company where she played such roles as Lucrece in The Rape of Lucrece; Rosalind in As You Like It; Olivia in Twelfth Night; and Ariel in The Tempest, which toured for eight years across the UK and around the world. Her latest role for AandBC was Patience in Henry VIII in Stratford-upon-Avon as part of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Complete Works of Shakespeare season. Ms. Finegan also acted with the Royal Shakespeare Company in As You Like It, The Tamer Tamed, and The Log of the Skipper’s Wife (Stratford-upon-Avon, U.K.; Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, USA; Eastern Canada tour). Her extensive voiceover experience includes narrating The Mystery of the Parthenon for BBC/Discovery Channel; many audiobooks including Sunstroke by Jesse Kellerman and A Kiss Before Dying by Ira Levin; and the award-winning documentary America: The Story of Us for the History Channel. Amy Finegan’s composing work includes: As You Like It, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, Andorra (Young Vic Theatre, London) and The Winter’s Tale (Theatre Royal, Bath).
