Caroline Oxenham was born in Munich, Germany, and raised in Brighton, England, as well as Washington D.C. and New York City, U.S.A., where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at The Juilliard School in 1994. She then returned to England, touring with various companies, performing roles such as Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Elvira in Blithe Spirit, Mommie in The American Dream, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Ado Annie in Oklahoma, Beatrice in The Venetian Twins and Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest. She later co-founded Tate & Liles Theatre Productions, performing both in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, playing roles such as Marie in Bold Girls and Desdemona in Desdemona, A Play About A Handkerchief. Caroline Oxenham has made appearances in television series such as Poirot and Holby City and films including Enigma and Gladiator. Currently based in Munich, Caroline Oxenham was also seen at the Reithalle, performing in the 2007 production of The Vagina Monologues.
