Amy Rutherford

Amy Rutherford is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada and the Stratford Festival of Canada's Conservatory. Ms. Rutherford has worked extensively in theatre, film, television and radio. In 2011, Ms. Rutherford was voted one of the top ten theatre artists living in Toronto by NOW Magazine (Toronto’s leading arts publication). Selected theatre credits include: Michael Ondaatje's theatrical adaptation of Divisadero; Breath in Between; The Children's Republic; Our Class; The Vertical Hour; and The 39 Steps. She has toured the world with Volcano Theatre's Goodness which won the coveted Carol Tambor Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Ms. Rutherford also has two screenplays of her own in development and is a contributing curator to Ryeberg.com, a website that features essays by prominent visual artists, writers, actors and filmmakers living in Canada and the U.S.
